Now, your printer has been added to the computer.When the new menu pops up, click “Configure”.Find the correct driver which will be the name of your printer.Use “HP Jetdirect-Socket” under “Protocol”.Use the filter bar to quickly find the driver you’re looking for and click on itĢnd Method to Install your Printer to your Computer (Using IP).Under name, type in the name you want to call the printer.When the menu pops up after clicking on the plus symbol, click on your printer.Go to “System Preferences” (this can either be at the bottom of the screen or you can search for it using the magnifying glass at the top right corner)ġst Method to Install your Printer to your Computer (Using Bonjour).Click “Move to Trash” because you no longer need the installer.Click “Close” after installation is completed.Click “Use Password,” and type in your password.List of drivers you are installing comes up.When your downloads folder opens, click on the driver you downloaded and let it open up.Go to the magnifying glass at the top right corner and search and type in “downloads”.Scroll down until you find your operating system.Type in printer’s model number under “Search for downloads”.Type in /en/support-and-download#ddicategory into the web browser.(Watch the video version of this post below)
